Returns, picked up where you already are.

Submit a return in the Pixie app, print a sticker at the kiosk in your building, office or campus, and leave the box. We send it back every week. Nothing for your staff to manage.

Everything starts in the Pixie app.

Thirty seconds to submit a return. No printer, no account with the carrier, no guessing where the drop-off is.

  • Photo, description, label, unit. That's the whole form. If the retailer emailed you a label, attach it; if not, the app helps you get one.
  • A six-digit code, instantly. Type it at any Pixie kiosk or neighbourhood box and your sticker prints.
  • Track every box. Waiting, picked up, delivered to the retailer, refunded. You'll know where it is without emailing anyone.
  • Card on file, carrier fees only. If a return has a shipping charge, it's billed to you directly. Pixie never adds a fee.

Returns are a daily chore people keep losing.

One in five online orders goes back. The ones that don't go back aren't kept on purpose; the box just never made it to the drop-off.

$850B

of merchandise returned by shoppers in 2025, 15.8% of all retail sales.1

19.3%

of online purchases get returned, roughly one in five parcels arriving at your door.1

69%

of shoppers kept something they wanted to return because the process was too much hassle.2

7.7

online returns a year for shoppers aged 18 to 30, more than any other age group. That's your renter.1

What a missed return costs

A resident holds a brown box with a barcode sticker on top, ready to leave downstairs

Every unreturned item is a full-price purchase of something the person didn't want. A pair of shoes that didn't fit, a jacket in the wrong size, a lamp that arrived broken. Keep three of those a year at $60 each and someone is out $180 for nothing. Across a 200-unit building or a 500-person office that is tens of thousands of dollars a year walking out the door in boxes that never got taped shut.

Pixie removes the only hard part: getting the box to a carrier. They tag it, leave it at the kiosk, and the refund is on its way.

Convenience is the amenity people actually use.

Nobody tours the gym twice. Everybody gets packages. The buildings winning renewals, and the offices people come back to, are the ones that remove small weekly chores, not the ones with the biggest lobby.

88%

of apartment residents say they are strongly interested in returning packages from their own building instead of driving to a drop-off.3

58%

of renters would take convenience technology over a pool or gym.4

65%

would pay more rent each month for features that make daily life easier; half of them more than $20.4

1–4 hrs

a week that property staff already spend handling packages, before a single one is sent back.5

Luxury used to mean marble. Now it means time.

Concierge buildings figured this out years ago: the thing residents pay for is not having to think. Dry cleaning picked up, parcels signed for, a problem handled with one message. Pixie puts that standard of service anywhere with a mail room or a front desk, at a fraction of a concierge's salary.

It's also one of the few amenities a prospect understands in a single sentence on a tour: "Leave your returns downstairs. We send them back."

How a return works with Pixie

Four steps for the person returning, zero for the property.

You

Submit a return in the app

Snap a photo of the box, say what's inside, attach the shipping label, and add your unit number.

You

Get a six-digit code

The app sends a code the moment the ticket is submitted.

You

Print the sticker downstairs

Enter the code at the Pixie kiosk in the mail room, lobby or front desk. It prints a barcode sticker. Tag the box and leave it.

We pick up on your location's day

Every location has one pickup day a week. We collect every tagged box, bring it to our warehouse, and ship it back to the retailer.

Tag the box, leave it at the kiosk. On pickup day, Pixie carries the week's boxes out. The two never need to meet.

What your property gets

Pixie is sold to the property as an annual service, whether that's an apartment building, a condo, an office, a campus or a community centre. The kiosk, the pickups and the app are all included.

A modern mail room with grey parcel lockers and bike storage
  • A fixed weekly pickup daySame day, every week. People know when to leave the box; your staff know when the pile disappears.
  • A kiosk in the mail room or lobbyPeople type their code and get a sticker. No staff involvement, no clipboards.
  • The Pixie app for everyone on siteResidents, employees or students submit returns, track their tickets, and see their location's pickup day.
  • An amenity you can put on the listingA return service people use every month, at no extra cost to them beyond the carrier's own fees. Nine in ten apartment residents say they want it.3

Who pays for what

Simple on purpose. The property pays for the service; the people using it only ever pay the carrier.

Pixie
Processing, not purchasing

We move and process the boxes. We never front shipping costs or buy items back, so there are no surprise invoices for the property.

Next: a Pixie box for your neighbourhood.

Not everyone lives in a tower or works in an office with a lobby. So the next step is one drop-off point per neighbourhood: a kiosk at the community centre, or a sealed Pixie box with a screen and a sticker printer on the side, placed where people already walk.

Same app, same code. Submit the return, type the code at the box, take your sticker, tag the box and drop it in. Once a week we empty the box and send everything back. You can put packages in, nobody can take them out.

Questions properties ask us

Who is Pixie for?

Anywhere a lot of people get packages and share a front door: apartment and condo buildings, office buildings, university residences and campuses. Community centres work too, as a drop-off point for the surrounding neighbourhood. If your property has a mail room, a lobby or a front desk, Pixie fits.

What does the property need to provide?

A spot in the mail room, lobby or front desk for the kiosk, a power outlet, and a place where tagged boxes can wait for pickup day. That's it.

Does the concierge have to do anything?

No. People print their own stickers at the kiosk and leave the box. Our driver collects every tagged box on pickup day.

What if someone doesn't have a shipping label yet?

They attach whatever the retailer gave them in the app. If a label needs to be purchased, the cost is charged to their linked card, not to the property.

Which carriers and retailers do you handle?

Any return that ships with a label. We process everything at our warehouse and hand it to the right carrier.

How long is the commitment?

Properties sign up for a year. We'll walk you through pricing for your unit or headcount on a call.

Have Pixie where you live or work?

The Pixie app is rolling out one location at a time. Ask your property manager, office manager, campus services or community centre if you're signed up, or email us and we'll check for you.
